At Utopian Stone we are very fortunate to live and work in the historic gold rush town of Nevada City California, located in the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Nevada City boasts a population of 3001 and an historic district where not just a few buildings, but the entire downtown is listed on The National Register of Historic Places. The main street, Broad St., is lined with the only working gas street lamps west of The Mississippi.

Patrick Dyer has been very active in civic matters, holding such offices as the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Mayor of the town.
